Help your community …
The organisation/charity administration and day-to-day management of the facilities currently falls to a handful of hard-working Management Committee members.
We’d especially like to recruit some volunteers with project management, building services or allied/diy practical skills and experience and/or enthusiasm to get involved? Our buildings and facilities are in good order, but we’re always looking for ways we can improve things for our hirers. For instance, we installed WiFi Internet access in 2019 and more recently a projector and PA system in both the Richards Room and the Community Hall. We’ve also redecorated and replaced the ceiling tiles in both venues. These types of improvements can be more ambitious and proceed more quickly if we can share the workload with a few more volunteer helpers.
Perhaps this is you then, if you’re looking for a worthwhile and satisfying community role? Interested in helping? You wouldn’t necessarily need to be on our Management Committee/attend meetings and you could just offer your help for special projects.
