We’re making a number of changes to our core team. David and Pat Embery have been central to the running of the Hall for many years. David’s been both our Treasurer and Hall Manager in recent years and Pat has been Booking Secretary for many years, for which we truly thank them. David has now retired as Treasurer. Martyn Shakespeare, already a Trustee of the charity, has taken over as our new Treasurer. We welcome him to the role. Pat has also retired as Booking Secretary. We’re pleased to welcome our new Booking Secretary, Sammy Jo Wright.
We’re also pleased to welcome two new volunteers to the team, Clive and Jane Barker. Clive will be our new Hall Manager from May onwards, with David retiring at our AGM on 30 April. Clive will be ‘shadowing’ David over the coming weeks. Jane will be helping Clive and getting involved in administration work in due course.
