With the Community Hall and Richards Room having to remain closed for now for normal hires, we’re very pleased to have been chosen by Suffolk County Council as a Community Test Program (Test Centre) location. These centres are primarily for people without obvious COVID-19 symptoms who still have to travel to work, to get a rapid (lateral flow) test, to see if they have the virus. You can find out more details on the SCC website. The centre will be open from Tuesday 16 February, provisionally until the end of March.
This means the Community Hall will be in use (a permitted use of course) – for the community at large. We’d previously decided to keep the venues closed until at least the end of March anyway.
